It appears like we’re in for a slippery trip, so choose fasten your seatbelts and keep seated at all times. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, who asserted on Sunday that culture change is one of the factors causing a rise in extreme flight volatility, is no less an authority than&nbsp.

Buttigieg set out his forecast by initial declaring&nbsp,” The reality is, the effects of climate change are now upon us in terms of our travel”.

He was speaking on CBS ‘ Face the Nation, forecasting significant volatility is something that will remain to”affect American tourists, whether here or overseas”. Buttigieg continued:

We’ve seen it in the form of everything from hurricane seasons becoming more and more extreme and indications that turbulence is up by about 15 % to heat waves that should n’t statistically even be possible threatening to melt the cables of transit systems in the Pacific Northwest.

That entails weighing everything and everything we can do to help.

A&nbsp, a study &nbsp, cited by CNBC in a report published last year in the journal Geophysical Research Letters found that clear-air turbulence ( CAT ), the strongest category of CAT, has increased by 55 % over the course of that time period.

” Our environment is evolving”, Buttigieg went on. ” Our plans and our systems and our system have to develop accordingly, too”.

. An increase in flight turmoil, according to @SecretaryPete, is one of the effects of climate change that “are now upon us in words of our travel.”

He claims that while the fatal volatility on a new Singapore Airlines flight is “very rare,” it can also occur “picture.” twitter.com/GIOvMHi7fh

    — Face The Nation ( @FaceTheNation ) May 26, 2024

A Singapore Airlines journey SQ321 from London to Singapore on Tuesday was reportedly turbulent, injuring over 30 people, and causing a British man’s death from a suspected heart attack, according to Buttigieg spoke.

” To be clear, things that serious is extremely rare. But volatility can occur and sometimes it can happen quickly,” Buttigieg explained.

It’s all about staying ahead of the curve and keeping aircraft comfortable. It became the safest mode of transportation in America without any explanation. We’ve got to address that no as some goal accomplished.”

Buttigieg has put a strong focus on his need to combat climate change since taking over as head of vehicles on February 3, 2021.

According to Breitbart News, he claimed in 2019&nbsp that climate change was the root of the Syrian Civil War and the start of large emigration from Central America.

There is proof that drought that might have been partially caused by climate change are to blame for anything, starting with the Syrian Civil War, the relocation out of Central America, and this is just the start, Buttigieg told interviewer Alisyn Camerota.

” We may see culture wars in the future. Let’s not let that arise.”
