After being ordered to pay a$ 12 million settlement to a man who claimed that Sanders beat him up in 2015, Shilo Sanders, the son of Colorado head coach Deion Sanders, is accused of trying to hide his net worth and income.
High school safety watch John Darjean made the allegations, alleging that Shilo beat him up while the latter was attending high school at the Triple A Academy, a charter school ring in Dallas, Texas, which has since been shut down.
After Shilo allegedly broke college rules prohibiting cell phone use in school, Darjean claims he was given the task of escorting the youth to an in-school suspension. Shilo reportedly used the phone to call his family, Pilar Sanders, but when one of Deion’s aides got to the university, he told Darjean to remove Shilo’s telephone.
Darjean says in the court papers that Shilo elbowed the man in the stomach before continuing to beat him after he fell to the ground. He claimed that he” sustained serious and permanent injury including a broken neck, injury to his cervical vertebrae, permanent neurological wounds, and inevitable constipation”.
According to the lawsuit, Shilo Sanders physically assaulted John Darjean by repeatedly elbowing him in the neck and chest and striking him repeatedly in the stomach area and chest area.

After the assessment went in Darjeen’s pursuit, Shilo declared bankruptcy, saying he had no more than$ 320, 477 to his name. According to Yahoo Sports, Shilo even admitted to some — but not all — of Darjean’s statements in a bankruptcy hearing.
In light of the numerous NIL deals he signed, Darjean and others are then questioning Shilo’s says that he only had a few hundred thousand dollars to his title. That raises questions about Shilo’s failure to completely report his property to the bankruptcy court, in addition to the numerous social media posts and videos that show him wearing expensive clothing and products.
The guard’s attorney blasted Shilo’s claims of being unable to pay any of the$ 12 million settlement.
‘ Contrary to the schedules, Shilo has admitted acquiring large amounts of higher- end and expensive clothes,’ the filing reads.’ For example, on his YouTube Channel posted on May 4, 2023, he states,’ Alright we at the Louis ( Vuitton ) Store I am trying to spend at least$ 50, 00.00 today.’ “
None of the products displayed on Shilo’s social press were documented in the publication, the registration notes. In reply, Shilo’s attorneys contend that he is not required to list and price particular private property items.
Shilo had signed deals with firms, including game co. MetaQuest, but these deals were never mentioned in the bankruptcy proceedings.
However, in his bankruptcy filing, Shilo’s attorney says the young player is$ 11.3 million in debt with just under$ 500k in assets and had a gross income of$ 193, 713 in 2023.
