Unintentionally, a group of Tamaulipas state police officials who were chasing a suspect crossed into Texas, causing a short conflict with American authorities at a foreign port of entry in Brownsville.
According to Tamaulipas law enforcement sources, the incident started earlier this week in Matamoros, where Tamaulipas state police makes responded to a visit of a battle in the city’s Benito Juarez area. As officials attempted to apprehend the suspect, he attempted to drive away in a vintage Suburban and then turned north in Brownsville.
The suspect traveled north along the border to the Texas side of the border after passing through the application kiosk. Unwittingly entering Texas, the Tamaulipas Police vehicle 1573 chased the suspect, which caused a brief standoff with U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials who detained the fledgling driver and immediately detained the officers.
According to Tamaulipas state police options, after a brief discussion, U. S. government allowed the Hispanic officers to return to the Hispanic side of the bridge. The police retreated to Mexico through another port of entry, according to a photo that Mexican government provided to Breitbart Texas.
Breitbart Texas contacted U. S. Customs and Border Protection and U. S. Homeland Security Investigations. The authorities responded,” Homeland Security Investigations is aware of the current situation and is carefully monitoring”.
The issue comes as the border town of Matamoros has seen a dramatic increase in gang violence. According to Breitbart Texas, Gulf Cartel militants have been staging numerous ambush-style attacks on Tamaulipas position police causes.
