The Little Mermaid and Aladdin were co-produced by John Musker, who said Disney needs to” change its course” and shift away from political messaging to more interesting programming.
He even criticized Disney’s most new live-action adaptation of The Little Mermaid, which received negative reviews from viewers all over the world.
John Musker criticised his former theater in a recent discussion with El Pais, a Hispanic newspaper.
According to Musker,” I believe they need to take a little more care” by placing the message more second-guessing behind entertaining, persuasive stories, and interesting characters.
” The classic Disney films did n’t start out trying to have a message. They wanted you to be a part of the story, the earth, the figures, and I believe that is still at the center of it, he continued. ” You do n’t have to exclude agendas, but you have to first create characters who you sympathize with and who are compelling”.
After in the meeting, he dissed The Little Mermaid remake.
” They did n’t play up the father- daughter story, and that was the heart of the movie, in a way. And the lobster — you may look at life species in a park and they have more expression”, he said.
Along with Ron Clements, John Musker directed many Disney animated movies that are now considered some of the best the theater has released, including , The Little Mermaid,  , Aladdin,  , and Moana.
Musker left Disney in 2018 and retired.
Disney has had an unprecedented number of field business failures in recent years because viewers have abstained from the left-wing preaching of the studio.
The , extraordinary losing streak , is shocking for a workshop that used to basil money at the theatre thanks to companies like Pixar, Marvel, and Lucasfilm.  , Woke communication — including intense promotion of the LGBTQ agenda  , — has turned off thousands of paying clients.
Current weapons include , The Marvels, Wish, and the latest Indiana Jones movie. The Little Mermaid remake even flopped down with Pixar’s Elemental and Marvel’s latest Ant- guy movie.
In an effort to get itself out of its financial difficulties, Disney just laid off a staggering 7000 staff around the world.
