New details reveal that an illegal alien who is accused of killing a woman in Berkeley County, West Virginia, spent more than 20 years in an El Salvadori prison before being allowed into the country under President Joe Biden’s view.
David Antonio Calderon, a 46- yr- ancient illegal alien from El Salvador, was booked this quarter in Frederick County, Virginia, after having a subpoena out for his arrest in West Virginia for supposedly murdering a woman.
New information of Calderon’s history have since been reported by Adam Shaw at Fox News Digital and West Virginia Metro News, revealing that Calderon served time in an El Salvador jail from January 1999 to August 2021 for drunk driving, intimate rape, murder, aggravated assault, and drug acts.
After being released from prison in El Salvador in 2021, Calderon applied for asylum in Canada via the U.S. northern border, but his request was denied. In March 2023, Calderon asked for asylum in Canada. Calderon was released with a Notice to Appear (NTA ) before a federal immigration judge after Canadian authorities took him into Department of Homeland Security ( DHS) custody.
After firefighters in Berkeley County extinguished a couch that was on fire, law enforcement discovered a 33-year-old woman’s body on May 6. The woman had been reported missing from the home confinement program in Jefferson County.
Police allege that Calderon randomly attacked two homeless people in Jefferson County with baseball bats in April, seriously injuring them. As a result, a warrant for his arrest for malicious assault was issued.
Calderon was detained on suspicion of having been involved in the two attacks just a few days after the woman’s body was discovered. He was later charged with murdering the woman after being arrested on the assault charges.
Calderon is battling his murder-related extradition to Berkeley County while he is still being held in Frederick County’s Northwestern Regional Adult Detention Center.
