The WHO ( W. H. ) O. ) on Monday rejected a proposal to include Taiwan in the annual World Health Assembly ( WHA ) meeting, now in progress in Geneva, Switzerland.
Communist China, which opposes any global reputation of Taiwan’s status as a condition, was intended to be at ease with the bash.
W. H. O. was commended by Chinese state media for when more skirting Beijing’s line by rejecting Taiwan as an spectator for the seventh time in a column.  ,
The condition- run World Times on Monday applauded the W. H. O. for demonstrating an “unshakeable” dedication to the “one- China principle” and accepting that “reunification” is obvious. The “one- China theory” is Beijing’s bogus claim that Taiwan’s federal does hardly exist legitimately and that the area is a province of China.
” We urge selected countries to prevent distorting and challenging UNGA] United Nations General Assembly ] Resolution 2758, prevent fudging and hollowing out the one- China principle, quit politicizing health issues, and stop interfering in China’s domestic affairs by exploiting the Taiwan question. The Chinese Foreign Ministry criticized the international community for perhaps considering a Won proposal for Taiwan, saying that using Taiwan to include China would only end in failure.
The Socialist government in Beijing was referred to as the “only reasonable government of China” by the UN General Assembly Resolution 2758, which was passed in 1971. When China tries to detach Taiwan from U.N. activities, it often references this quality.

The United States and a few other Western nations “were trying to scurrilously plot” to undermine the “one-China principle,” The Global Times claimed.
The Communist newspaper argued that this is a very dangerous and destructive move and that it is an attempt to create more division and conflict in the international community at the security, economic, and social levels. All political parties and nations that value peace and prosperity will object to this, according to the lecture.
China’s influence over the W. H. O. is all the more bizarre because of the Communist Party ‘s , lying to W. H. O. and other worldwide agencies at every turn of the Wuhan coronavirus pandemic, while Taiwan mounted one of the more effective responses to the pandemic. Taiwanese health officials lamented that Beijing’s political interference prevented the W. H. O. from taking into account the much more reliable data they had provided or taking their warnings about the risks of the coronavirus.
Press conferences were held in Geneva on Friday to denounce the injustice of excluding Taiwan from the WHA meeting, which was attended by Taiwanese Health Minister Chiu Tai-yuan and a delegation of health experts and legislators.
” We are calling for the international community’s support and urging the WHO to act in line with this year’s WHA theme — ‘ All for Health, Health for All’ — by including Taiwan in the proceedings of the WHA as an observer, and allowing Taiwan’s regular participation in WHO meetings, activities and mechanisms”, Chiu said on Monday.
Chiu argued that neither China’s oft- cited UNGA Resolution 2758 nor W. H. O. rules preclude Taiwan from participating in the WHA as an observer.
” China has no right to interfere with or restrict Taiwan’s participation”, he said, although China appears to have done exactly that for the eighth year in a row.
Recently inaugurated Vice President Hsiao Bi- khim argued at a health forum in Taipei on Monday that there was no logical or legal justification for Taiwan leaving the WHA, especially given the Wuhan coronavirus pandemic, which taught the world that” no one should be left behind.”
The WHA snub of Taiwan was another diplomatic defeat for the Biden administration, which strongly urged the W. H. O. to restore Taiwan’s observer status, a role Taiwan held from 2009 to 2016 without any great difficulties.  ,
What changed after Taiwan’s election of President Tsai Ing-wen, who was viciously demonized by Beijing as a” separatist,” is how the Communist tyranny views her replacement William Lai Ching-te. In blatant violation of medical ethics and scientific principles, China launched a campaign to diplomatically isolate Taiwan in every way possible, including using its influence at the W. H. O. to obstruct Taiwan’s observer status.
” Taiwan’s exceptional capabilities and approaches offer considerable value to inform the WHA’s deliberations. Taiwan has consistently shown a capability and willingness to support the global health community and address global health crises,” Secretary of State Antony Blinken stated on May 1.
Blinken argued that the world demands and urgently needs inclusive global public health cooperation and security because of Taiwan’s continued exclusion from this preeminent global health forum.
