A keep is causing some concern for companions in Monrovia, California, due to its obvious sweet tooth.
On Friday, the animal broke into a house on Canyon Crest Drive and walked away with a group of Oreos. According to ABC 7’s report from Sunday, he evidently entered through a window and fled with the sweet treat that some residents claim is their favorite snack.
Resident , Vina Khoury said the incident scared her because the keep got very close.
” But since he’s been a little bit more to comfortable with us, and he really got to start a friend’s car got some shopping out, got a package of Oreos, and that’s where his title came from”, Khoury, who is used to seeing animals in the area, told NBC LA.
” We’re ok with them around, it’s just this one got a little too comfortable”, she added:

” Black bears happen in a variety of ecosystems, including organic, rural, and residential areas. Black bears can occasionally be mistaken for grizzlies because of the wide range of fur colors that can be found in a range of shades, from white to cinnamon to black. The state’s previous documented incident was in 1924, according to the organization, and grizzly bears have been extinct there.

Khoury claimed in 2023 that a bear entered her door, discovered a chocolates cake in a kitchen, and consumed every bit of it.
When speaking of Friday’s incident, which happened at her friend’s apartment, Khoury noted,” Then that he really broke into the house, it’s a little intimidating. Because he literally took the screen out, I feel like I ca n’t leave a window open even with a screen, which is a little alarming.
