NEW DELHI: As the hush-money trial of Donald Trump approched its finish on Wednesday, the former US President compared himself to Mother Teresa, more claiming that the allegations were “rigged.”
” Mother Teresa was not overcome these costs. The costs are skewed. The whole thing is manipulated”, he said. The remarks were made as he left the court shortly after the prosecution was over.
After 4 and a half days of deliberating on Wednesday, the test is scheduled to begin on Thursday.
In connection with an alleged plot to conceal potentially damaging information about him during his 2016 presidential campaign, Trump is accused of 34 matters of forging enterprise records at his company.
After Cohen gave porn star Stormy Daniels$ 130, 000 in hush money, Cohen received payments to Michael Cohen, the former attorney for then-President Trump, to end her claims that the two had sex in 2006. Trump is accused of fabricating Cohen’s court costs in order to cover up the fact that they were part of a calm cash settlement.
Trump has entered a not-guilty plea and refuted Daniels ‘ says that he had intercourse.
