The implementation of a U.S. middle collection missile system in the north Philippines during military drills in April was strongly condemned by China’s defense department on Thursday, saying there were “heuchet risks of war” in the region.
Wu Qian, a spokesman for the Defense Ministry, stated at a press conference in Beijing that China remained extremely vigilant and opposed the initial implementation to the Indo-Pacific region.
