A migratory who attempted to float around the boundary hurdle on Wednesday evening has been reported missing, according to the border report in San Diego.
The Tijuana rescuers claim a person was notified by her that they had lost sight of her as she was attempting to cross the boundary fence that extends out into the sea between Tijuana and San Diego.
Juan Hernández, mind of the Tijuana Lifeguard Service, said their rivals north of the border have likewise provided help.
In the past, migrants were warned about solid currents, warm water, and undertows in the area where the feminine immigrant and others have been having problems.
” We’ve had to look for someone who was trying to enter the United States without permission and swimming around the challenge for the sixth day this time.” said Hernández. ” We have been able to find and save five of them, but two drowned”.
Hernández also said they are convinced others have also tried crossing the border in the water, something he does n’t recommend.
” We have n’t gotten more reports, but we know there have been others”.
Ironically, during a conference with reporters on Thursday, Luis Miranda, a Department of Homeland Security official, asked workers to refrain from making risky bridges into the U. S. including by waters.
He issued a warning about the problems and high temperature along the southern border.
Dehydration is most prevalent in desert areas and tough entry areas, and falling from the boundary wall and drowning in rivers and waterways are also possible injuries, he said.
Miranda even advised people to avoid getting in touch with criminal companies and to reject “misinformation being distributed about crossing the border illegally.”
” Illegally passing is a violation of United States immigration rules and it has effects that include imprisonment, protection from getting legal access in the future, and at times, legal deliberations”, he said.
