After a judge found former US president Donald Trump innocent on 34 counts in his Manhattan criminal prosecution on Thursday, Trump lawyer Todd Blanche lamented the results and the situation that he believed led to the goal.
Blanche expressed concern for Trump’s legal rights, according to Jesse Watters on FNC.
” You believe Donald Trump’s legal rights were violated”? Watters asked during an exam airing on Thursday’s” Jesse Watters Primetime”.
” In many ways, yes”, Blanche replied.
” How consequently”? Watters asked.
According to Blanche,” Well, if you look at the gag order that was put in place, and you have a condition where President Trump is trying to compete with accents who are saying things every day without danger of being fined, which he was, or going to prison for violating it,” That impacts no just President Trump. Every vote is affected by whether they will support or oppose President Trump in the election. That affects every single voter in this country, because they do n’t get to hear from the candidate. We completely disagree with that particular purchase.
He continued,” We appealed that as well. There was a lot to learn about what has transpired as of late last month. Today’s verdict only came along. But, actually, there’s a bit that’s happened over the past time that I think that Americans may seem very challenging at, just that the whole approach this situation was charged. The district attorney claims that this kind of scenario is their bread and butter and that they deal with these situations constantly. That is not accurate. It’s just not correct. This is a situation that the data of — President Trump’s private records, his private ledger from 2017, from 2017, is what he was on test for”.
” That does not happen all the time”, Blanche added. It does n’t occur in every city in this country and does n’t have to happen in every jurisdiction. And that’s great. If you want to prosecute someone and pursue someone for execute that occurred in 2017, that’s okay. Do n’t look me in the eye and say,” This is bread and butter, we do this all the time, we’re treating President Trump like we treat anybody else, but I think that’s where it becomes problematic for me as a lawyer.” That’s not accurate. That’s no real”.
