There is a” silent minority” of about 15 % of the Republican Party’s members who do not want former president Donald Trump to be their presidential nominee, according to Alissa Farah Griffin, according to her co-hosts on ABC’s” The View.”
May I offer a little bit of hope below, Farah Griffin? While I’m preface, I’m very worried about the next five months. I think there’s language around social murder that we’ve seen. We all know that Donald Trump’s thoughts often lead to activities like on January 6th. I’m afraid of his comments this weekend, but I’ve been told in my gut that a criminal conviction wo n’t help him win a general election, and now the data shows that’s not the case.
She continued,” A morning consult poll found that 49 % of Republicans and 49 % of Independences believed Trump should step down from his campaign because of his criminal conviction.” Not only saying they’re never supporting him. He should be out, he’s unsuitable. This exemplifies what we saw in Republican primary elections, wherein about 15 % to 20 % of Republicans cast ballots in opposition to him. The GOP has a “lone majority” of members who say they are against something involving him.
Farah Griffin added,” There’s all this MAGA roll and all this right- aircraft spin saying’ He raised but little money, this guarantees him the presidency.’ I’m sorry, but get me the swing vote who was uncertain about Trump and who said,” You know what put me over the edge was the quiet cash transaction to a movie star that led to a legal faith. That does n’t exist”.
