First lady Jill Biden celebrated her day on Monday by attending the second son Hunter’s murder trial in Delaware. This was a significant political moment for a president who is currently in office facing criminal charges.
The test, concerning a 2018 order of a rifle, is the first of two large- report trials the younger Biden is facing during the last months of the 2024 general election.
After being delayed in May, Hunter Biden’s national income trial may start in September.
President Joe Biden has kept his father’s constitutional issues a secret, and he is not expected to appear in either of Hunter Biden’s two court appearances this year. The president will make his Tuesday trip to France to mark the 80th commemoration of D-Day.

The first lady, Ashley Biden ( Hunter Biden’s sister ), and Melissa Cohen Biden ( Hunter Biden’s wife ) all attended Monday’s proceedings. Jill Biden arrived at the court just before 9 a. m. on Monday, wearing a purple coat.
” Content birthday”, Hunter Biden reportedly told the second woman, who turned 73 on Monday. ” I got you a specific event”.
The unique counsel leading the trial, David Weiss, alleges that Hunter Biden lied on a federal court document about how much medicine he used at the time before buying a gun. Huntingdon Biden is pleading not criminal to the three associated fees, but he could spend up to 25 years in prison if found guilty.
In preparation for Joe Biden’s fierce reelection campaign against former president Donald Trump, the first lady has been rapidly boosting her campaign appearances.
