On June 4 at Computex, held in Taiwan, Intel announced the next generation of its AI Computer items: the Lunar Lake customer computer infrastructure. At the global system expo, Intel made the following additional revelations:
- The Intel Gaudi 2 and Gaudi 3 AI pedal products are priced.
- The release of Efficient-core (E-core ) processors for Intel Xeon 6 was a success.
The company and its distributors offer Intel products to customers all over the world.
The Lunar Lake computer can handle up to 48 TOPS.
Intel revealed the details of the Lunar Lake computer, which will allow AI PC efficiency. Solar Lake brings:
- 40 % less system on chip power and more than three times as much AI processing power as compared to the previous generation.
- An NPU with up to 48 trillion businesses per minute.
- A fresh GPU architecture featuring Xe2 GPU components for enhanced graphics performance and Xe Matrix Extension panels, a second AI throttle with up to 67 TOPS.
Lunar Lake will emerge in AI Computers from more than 20 companies, including Microsoft, throughout 2024.
Companies at Lunar Lake
Intel’s Lunar Lake competes with Qualcomm’s Android X Elite, AMD’s AI 300 line, Apple’s M4 and an extremely crowded field of chips designed to make conceptual Artificial work on PCs.
To make AI Computer functions like Microsoft’s Copilot, companies are competing for faster TOPS speeds and lower energy consumption. AMD claims its AI 300 set reaches 50 TOPS. With its GeForce RTX GPUs for entertainment and heavy-duty artistic work on PCs and desktops, NVIDIA is talking about achieving 200 to 1,300 TOPS.

It was made known last week that Intel is a member of the producer team for an AI chip accelerator that is meant for standard communications.
For business use cases, faster AI performance was energy smooth conceptual AI helpers. Navigator, for example, runs on OpenAI’s systems. Microsoft and OpenAI are working to improve the way their generative AI can remember where a lost item might have been on a Copilot + PC.
Intel Gaudi 2 and 3 sales revealed
System providers will have access to a normal AI kit that includes eight Gaudi 2 AI startups and a common baseboard for$ 65, 000. Gaudi 2 is shipping today.
System providers will pay$ 125, 000 for a kit that includes eight Gaudi 3 AI startups and a general baseboard. It will be obtainable in Q2 2024.
Intel announced at Computex that six innovative vendors will get working with Gaudi 3 in addition to disclosing the cost of the products. Asus, Foxconn, Gigabyte, Inventec, Quanta and Wistron have been added to the original talks with Dell, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Lenovo and Supermicro.
Right now, you can purchase the Intel Xeon 6 P-Core computer.
Beginning June 3, Intel announced at Computex that the first of the two fresh Xeon 6 computers would be made available after being introduced at the Intel Vision event in April. That computer, the Intel Xeon 6 P- primary ( code- named Sierra Forest ), is suitable for AI, another higher- performance computing projects and fog- local applications.
One level away from the Xeon 6 P- base is the Xeon 6 E- key ( script- named Granite Rapids ), which has a shared application stack with the P- core version, plus:
- Higher core density.
- Better performance per watt.
- Lower energy costs.
The third quarter of 2024 is expected to receive the Xeon 6 E-core.
According to Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger,” AI is driving one of the most significant eras of innovation the industry has ever witnessed.” Silicon’s “magic” once more makes computing exponentially advanced, pushing the limits of human potential and boosting the global economy for years to come.
