According to TikTok, there are “very few damaged accounts,” and the company is collaborating with the account owners to restore access as necessary.
According to a source at TikTok, Paris Hilton’s account was targeted but had n’t been compromised. ByteDance, the parent company of TikTok, is already contesting a US law that requires it to promote TikTok by January 1 or face a ban in the nation on grounds of national security.
