For months, stories have been circulating about behind-the-scenes arguing between Swift and Billie Eilish, with glee-eyed observers highlighting a number of alleged misdeeds between the two mega-stars.
Now it seems as though we ultimately have proof that the “buff” is real, not merely imagined.
‘ Industry insiders are n’t blind to the fact that Taylor is weaponizing her fans and that Billie appears to be the latest victim in that campaign,’ a source close to Eilish, 22, exclusively told Daily Mail.com.
Taylor uses her best efforts to ape a peer’s success whenever she feels frustrated, making sure her fans launch vicious online campaigns to dethrone them without ever stopping. And all while operating under the pretense of being America’s sweetie,’ the inside added.
The claims are outrageous and come after Swift, 34, and Eilish have both released fresh tracks in recent months, stoking a fierce fight for the top of the charts, with Billie being accused of being the target of more virtual problems by Taylor’s enthusiasts.
Swift’s ‘ The Tortured Poets Department ‘ has maintained the No. 1 status on Billboard’s record rankings since its launch on April 19.
Some critics claim that Swift has merely maintained its status through the release of prolonged and variant versions on a regular basis to maintain high sales and streaming rates.
In full, Swift has now put out over 20 varieties of TTPD.
Many people thought that she attempted to trample the competition by dropping two of these” special” editions the same day as Eilish released her new album” Hit Me Hard and Soft” last month.
Yet the move caused Eilish’s manager Danny Rukasin to re-share and later cancel a tweet accusing Swift of “breaking her neck doing everything to avoid other performers from shining” in the tweet.
The tweet made it clear that Swift had previously timed discharges to stymie musicians like Katy Perry and SZA.
However, Eilish seems to have been rattled by Swift’s perceived entertainment of the charts.
Back in March, Eilish hit out at’ inefficient’ musicians who make’ f***ing 40 different rubber plans ]… ] just to get you to keep buying more.’
Although Eilish insisted she was n’t” singing people out,” Swift’s website now has 11 various rubber albums for purchase, with some Swifties blaming her for it.
None of which was helped by additional comments Eilish made next month, which included first pounding songs that are clearly aimed at an adult as being “frustrating” ( sharp is known for her numerous breakup and diss tracks directed at her ex, enemies, and former friends ), and therefore claiming that artists who performed” three-hour shows”- like Swift’s continued Eras Tour- were “literally psychotic… nobody wants that.
For her part, sources close to Eilish claim that she does n’t want a public rift and that Swift’s fans are now launching an unwarranted online attack against her.
‘ Billie does n’t want anything to do with a “feud”, she’s not interested in the drama, and she’s done nothing to provoke it whatsoever,’ an insider said. ‘ There is no cause for Billie to get involved in any kind of meat at a time when she is doing so well.
Some have suggested that the two feuds started in January of 2022, when Blur frontman Damon Albarn viciously compared Swift to Eilish, who he called a “very exciting musician” in an LA Times meeting.
Albarn after apologized, but not before Swift clapped again, saying his ‘ warm take is entirely false and This damaging’.
The discussion was had ended there, but Eilish made a wonder move in April 2022 that might have riled Swift when she invited Albarn to visit her backstage during her Coachella article set.
While they were performing, an unidentified man – that some fans have claimed was Eilish’s brother, Finneas O’Connell – could be heard on the concert livestream saying: ‘ We’re getting sued by Taylor Swift.’
Certainly, Swift is known for her lengthy feuds and long- held grudges – from Kim Kardashian, to Scooter Braun and Karlie Kloss.
An Eilish insider said,” This is not the first time that Taylor’s fans have been used to pull someone down when their success is seen as encroaching on hers.”
Why does n’t she speak out and stop her fans from attacking people on her behalf if she is really such a nice girl like she wants everyone to believe?
After Swift first fell head over Kanye West and Kim’s then-husband Kanye West in their notorious on-stage feut at the 2009 VMA Awards, the two have been feuding for about 15 years.
Swift is obviously not moving on, even pointlessly including a “diss” track song in TTPD titled” thanK you aIMee” ( the capitalized letters notably spelling out” Kim” ).
Her ongoing conflict with Scooter Braun is also a secret. Braun purchased Swift’s masters in 2019 in a deal that she says she had no control over – even being told she could n’t herself outbid Braun’s offer.
Braun has been publicly denounced by Swift on numerous occasions, including in a speech at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards calling him” the definition of the toxic male privilege in our industry.”
And then there’s her fall- out with her former best friend, supermodel Karlie Kloss.
Although it has never been made clear exactly why the relationship ended, Kloss appeared to move out of Swift’s$ 50 million New York City home at some point in the early 2018 season while also missing Kloss’s wedding that year.
Whoever Swift is rowing with, one thing is certain: her fans will have her back.
After the model shared a photo of her and Katy Perry in February 2018, the” Swifties” descended on Kloss, who flooded her Instagram comments section with hundreds of rat emojis.
‘ All Taylor needs to do is encourage]her fans ] to spread positive messages instead of trolling and bringing others down,’ an Eilish insider said.
