The Chrome &, Azul have their star player to kick off their first Soccer campaign in 2025. The Mexican International Forward Hirving” Chucky” Lozano has been given a four-year commitment by the league, making him the second Designated Player in the team’s young story.
Lozano will be at his present team, Eredivisie Champions PSV Eindhoven, and play in the Netherlands until January 1, 2025. He may travel to San Diego to get ready for the start of the 2025 MLS time at the start of the new season.
After spending his first two seasons with the Rood-Witten in his first season with the club,” Chucky” spent just one year in Eindhoven during his second spell with PSV. After signing a five-year agreement with Napoli, Lozano may move to Italy after agreeing to the Championship A part, for which PSV paid a$ 46.5 million transfer fee. Lozano would spend four seasons at Napoli ( 2019 to 2023 ), helping him to win the Scudetto ( league title ) for the first time in 33 years in 2023 and to advance to the UEFA Champions League Quarterfinals that year. However,” Chucky’s” real rise to fame comes from his time playing for the Mexico National Team, where he scored the game-winning purpose in the 2018 FIFA World Cup against defending champion Germany.
” We look for ability first, and if we can get skills in it’s perfect. Chucky is that, according to San Diego FC CEO Tom Penn in a sit-down discussion with us. The fact that he may appear and identify with our group, our cross-border intentions with Mexico, and our “right to journey” ambitions to home, encourage the best young talent to emerge. He just fits the job description we’re trying to accomplish.
One of the best players in the Mexican National Team, who is in his 20s and just two wins away from winning division titles in two different teams in Europe, makes for a perfect fit. But will” Nick” be the only excellent fit that San Diego FC finds before their annual 2025 time? He is the foundation of the issue, and we can now build the rest of it around that corner piece. We may also be interested in investing in young people who are progressing and who may enter Europe as a job slog. Or would we hire a senior who would be more than happy to help him in a unique capacity? …We’ve got all kinds of flexibility, and we do n’t have a defined plan on exactly what we’ll do, but we’re involved in all those types of discussions I just mentioned”.
The club’s second significant move in terms of the team itself is the drafting of the Lozano. However, there are still open positions, most importantly finding a head coach and a sports producer, both of which are unfilled at this time. ” I think Head Coach is the next goal. From a General Manager point, we are involved and integrated with the Right to Fantasy Group…so I have the pleasure of that relationship and partnership. Our Real focus is on Head Coach, and what a tough hire this is to get them to play our style of play, the Right to Dream way… We’re in active dialogue with multiple candidates, that’s probably next on the hit list”.
On Thursday, June 13, Lozano will officially be introduced to the internet and supporters at a press conference at Snapdragon Stadium followed by a lover festival at Rady Shell at Jacobs Park after that evening.
