NEW DELHI: Native authorities in Tokyo have developed an AI-based dating software that is expected to be operational by the end of the year in an effort to combat Japan’s declining fertility rate.
” Please use it as’ the first step’ to begin marriage hunting”, the app’s website says adding,” Based on your values and the values you seek in a partner, which can be determined by taking a diagnostic test, AI will introduce you to a compatible person”.
What can be measured by look or circumstances only may lead to unanticipated encounters, the software claims.
Elon Musk praised the app, calling it “radical behavior.” Musk stated in a blog on X that he was pleased that the Japanese government recognized the significance of this issue. If radical action is n’t taken, Japan ( and many other countries ) will disappear”!
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government is working to create momentum for marriage, according to the app’s website,” Marriage is a decision based on one’s own values, but we ca n’t stop ourselves from doing that.”
After the government’s economy went into a crisis in 1973 as a result of the global oil crisis, experts claim that Japan’s fertility rate has fallen far below the regular standard of 2.1 over the past 50 years.
Japan’s health department said that 7, 27, 277 babies were registered in the state of 123.9 million people last month. Additionally, the state also witnessed a reduction in the fertility rate from 1.26 to 1.20.
