Political expert James Carville expressed concern over this year’s aging political strategy in a Sunday night radio interview.
” The lack of enthusiasm among young people for public policy, or public assistance, or being involved in the open circle, is quite disheartening”, Carville said.
Carville, who is well known for his social stances and for his leadership of Bill Clinton’s successful 1992 national campaign, claimed that the adolescent age of President Joe Biden and presumed GOP candidate Donald Trump are at least partially to blame.
” ]Young people ] feel like things are not working for them”, Carville said on the Cats Roundtable radio show. ” They feel like — two 80- yr- aged men that do n’t think little to them. And I’m really worried that as we get older, we’ll shed a generation of young people. That’s likely my greatest fear for the United States, is that younger people are disengaging”.
Biden is 81 centuries old, while Trump turns 78 this year. Carville, who turns 80 later this year, claims Biden may spend more time talking about pressing issues like the market and the fight in Gaza.
Carville said in the discussion that he would support Biden but that the group had better options in its younger rates.
” We have a choice to make in November”, he said. ” It is n’t a choice that I was crazy about. I truly stated in a very common manner that I believed Biden does not seek reelection. But he did”.

” There are any number of current people”, Carville added. ” The governor of Kentucky]Beshear ] is one of the most talented people I have ever seen … He’s a good friend of mine”.
