Zachary Quinto, the actor who berated workers and stormed off with his weekend breakfast ideas, has been banned from a Toronto restaurant, according to the co-owner of the eatery.
When he allegedly yelled at Manita restaurant staff “like an entitled child, like an entitled child,” allegedly interrupting other diners as he demanded a table, Quinto, who is known for playing the emotionally charged and logical Mr. Spock, was apparently much less restrained than his” Star Trek” character.
” An wonderful Kirk, but awful customer”, the cafe wrote Sunday in a blog in its , Instagram reports.
” Take your negative feelings abroad”, said Manita’s first blog, which has since aged out. You are not one of the many attractive celebrities who come to Manita.
Unless Quinto fully apologizes, he will not be pleasant at Manita, co- user Ian McGrenaghan said in an internet to The Times.
Manita later reposted the story on its grid, writing in the caption,” We are n’t above criticism, but we are above being demeaned … Manita is deeply grateful for our mostly incredible, friendly, gracious guests”.
Quinto’s members did not respond to The Times ‘ requests for comment on Monday. On social media, the professional posted only about holidays from his 47th day over the weekend, including a trip to Canada’s Wonderland topic area.
Quinto rode the Drop Tower at the garden, where he was  , with his” Beautiful Minds” co- stars , Tamberla Perry, Alex MacNicoll and Spence Moore II. The artist has been filming in Toronto since the end of March, where he will play “revolutionary physician” Dr. Oliver Wolf in the upcoming NBC medical drama that will air in September.
Celebrities should n’t be a thing of the past when they treat restaurant staff like prima donnas. TikTok creator Julia Carolan , rated , Kylie Jenner’s cold tone toward team at a high- close Manhattan cafe, and Hailey Bieber apologized officially after Carolan said she was” not good” to staff. James Corden , reportedly was banned for a day , from Balthazar, a higher- end European restaurant in New York City, until he “apologized deeply” to the owner — who had originally called him” a little Cretin of a man”.
But individuals have also posted anonymously to , Reddit , to reward artists like , Michael B. Jordan , and , Adam Scott , for tipping machines properly.
However, thousands of readers took to Quinto’s most recent Instagram post, a , video , of him playing the harp, to keep heated views about his actions.
” The way someone treats staff and others is usually a great way to see someone’s true character”, one , comment  , read.
The , Ontario Small Business Community, which showcases local mom- and- pop shops, chimed in too. Could you kindly say sorry to the neighborhood and independent eateries you terrorized this weekend? the online platform , asked. ” Thanks and welcome to Ontario Canada. Our small businesses here are well-liked and respected.
In response to the public outcry, some people had arrived at Quinto’s page in search of a repentant statement. ” I absolutely cannot wait for the’ apology’ post”, a user , added, indicating his doubt about the sincerity of any plea for forgiveness.
However, other audience members made it known that they were searching for the drama. ” Came for the comments, not disappointed”, one , wrote.
