Before shots rang out, Grier described a clash between the assume and two girls in an interview with 11Alive. Three people were shot in that affair.

Days after the shooting, Grier supposedly hijacked a passenger vehicle in downtown Atlanta. He is accused of fatally shooting one man and leading authorities on a hunt through three districts. He then faces more than two hundred criminal charges, including death.
Grier, 39, was detained on Tuesday in affluent DeKalb County after authorities stopped the vehicle, and he was booked into the Fulton County Jail early on Wednesday.
He was being held without bond, and there was no mention of a solicitor who may discuss the allegations in online jail records. Families who might be able to comment could n’t immediately be identified.
Authorities in Atlanta responded to a report of gunfire on a vehicle and a potential hostage situation shortly after 4:30 on Tuesday. The man forced the bus driver to drive off when an agent arrived about a minute after and confronted the suspect, according to Atlanta Police Chief Darin Schierbaum.

A man was shot by an off-duty police officer before the incident occurred in a Peachtree Center mall food court earlier on Tuesday afternoon, according to authorities. According to Schierbaum, the three subjects and the suspect were taken to facilities for treatment, but they were all expected to survive.
Grier is accused of murdering one person and injuring one motor car, injuring one, injuring one, inflicting 14 counts of theft, in possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, and in possession of a knife or weapon while committing a crime.
