Do you recollect Barb McQuade, a professor of law at the University of Michigan? She’s a typical “legal scientist” on MSNBC and was but one of many who supported the statement that Hunter Biden’s laptop was, in her terms,” Russia”.
Hilariously, she’s written a book titled” Attack from Within: How Disinformation Is Sabotaging America” the description of which reads” We are strategically being pushed apart by disinformation—the deliberate spreading of lies disguised as truth—and it comes at us from all sides”.
More hilariously, McQuade , ( pictured ) told Rachel Maddow earlier this year that the United States ‘ “deep commitment” to the First Amendment means there needs to be” common sense” speech restrictions.
She even opined that Donald Trump may be tried for murder for the January 6 “insurrection” at the Capitol.
If you’ve been following Hunter Biden’s test in Delaware you may have seen the “revelation” some now suspected: that the mayor’s father’s notebook is, and was, true after all.

How’s how Professor McQuaid dealt with the information about the computer’s sincerity:
As noted by @emptywheel, however, questions remain about the chain of custody of the laptop, and]FBI ] Agent]Erika ] Jensen testified that she was unable to say whether the laptop was tampered with before the FBI obtained it.
And, as @AshaRangappa has noted, even if the information was true, it still may have been a Russian control operation, just like the DNC exploit- and- leak operation, designed to cultivate discord. If thus, mission accomplished! ]… ]  , Therefore, it remains unknown whether Russia was involved with the scheme, and it is still correct to say that the laptop has” all of the hallmarks of a Russian intelligence operation”.
Emphasis added. Definitely amazing, is it not? And keep in mind Asha Rangappa, a CNN analyst and former Yale Law School dean, is the creep who allegedly bullied a conservative journalist after being questioned about her ( childish ) tweets ripping Nikki Haley.
However, Prof McQuade thus far this week has been having a regular one, noopener”>tweeting that Donald Trump “is using the deception tactics of humankind’s dictators” quite as claiming January 6 “was a law enforcement ‘ setup.'” She brought up the fact that Trump had warned followers to “fight like heaven” as if no politician had ever done so.
And, with personal attention at level zero, McQuade posted that “defamation fits can have a strong deterrent effect on propaganda”.
