After claiming Ukraine should communicate with” brilliant political operator” Vladimir Putin, Nigel Farage has sparked outrage.
The Reform UK leader urged Volodymyr Zelensky to sit down with the tyrant and prevent getting round a table with him. When Nicky Campbell from the BBC quizzed him about his past comments about Putin, Mr. Farage made the remarks.
Back in 2014, when asked what planet head he most worships, Mr Farage said:” As an operator, but not as a human being, I may say Putin”. Mr. Campbell questioned him about his comment about the Russian President, who he described as a “murderous dictator.” The Reform UK head said:”” How several years has he been in energy? You know, he’s he’s gone from Prime Minister to President, he’s a brilliant political technician.”

Reminded by Mr Campbell that Putin kills editors, Mr Farage went on:” He kills editors. I said that I did n’t like him in any way at all as a person. You can see how some people excel in their fields, even if they have bad intentions.
Asked if Adolf Hitler was good at what he did, Mr Farage responded:” What, as a public speech, what do you think? Evidently mesmerizing in a very risky way.
Mr. Farage continued, saying that he believed that the Russians may engage in conversations with Putin, even though this may probably result in country loss. He said:” Appearance, this battle has been going on today for years. It is likely to go on for many, many more centuries. Between the two factors who are battling for the state, there are almost a million deaths.

And he continued:” I’m not saying we should n’t support Ukraine at all. Never for one second. But at the end of the day, most war ending in dialogue. And I worry that if we do n’t find a way to at least sit down and talk, we’ll end up with a conflict that endures for years.
Mr. Farage acknowledged that Crimea, which Russia improperly seized ten years ago, would be the “big trouble.” When asked what his best advice would be for the Ukrainian President, he said,” Look, the West have been supporting you, they will continue to support you, but the percentage of your young manhood that you’re losing is so bad. I’d say to Zelensky, look, the West have been supporting you. Is n’t it time we at least tried to have a negotiation? He was n’t claim no.”
It comes as Putin asserts that he is being “pushed to the point of no return” by starting a radioactive conflict. He claimed that the West’s continued actions could lead to horror and accused NATO leaders of “extreme callousness.”
We have reached the point of no return, according to the Russian President.
Calls to fight Russia, which has the most sophisticated army of nuclear weapons, demonstrate the extreme prudence of American politicians. They are either too ignorant of the magnitude of the risk they are posing, or they are just preoccupied with impunity and exceptionalism. Both can lead to drama”.
