Steve Bannon, a former assistant to Donald Trump, predicted that in his Manhattan calm money test, former president Donald Trump may be sentenced to “multiple years in prison.”
In a statement at Turning Point USA’s Detroit event, Bannon bashed the constitutional cases against the former president and predicted, with certainty, that Trump will be sentenced to years in prison on July 11.
” They’ve turned the legal system. They’ve turned the constitutional system, whether it’s debt, whether it is taking away somebody’s legislation license, whether it’s de- banking, and they have the greatest president this nation’s head since Abraham Lincoln, and they’re, they’re about to throw him, by the way, you know … on the 11th of July, they’re going to sentence him for many years in prison. You understand that, best”? Bannon said.
” You understand what they’re doing in New York. And therefore they’re going to control, they’re going to control how he can travel”, he continued. ” Then it’s going to be judge- supervised. Why is that? To steal the election. To steal the election. Under no circumstances does they expect the Trump presidency to retake control. They ca n’t have MAGA rule the country. They do n’t care about this election. They do n’t care how many votes we get. They’re going to struggle us every step of the method”.
He then urged the market to support Trump and said that the FBI, which he referred to as an” American Gestapo,” may be completely eliminated.
According to Bannon, the FBI’s main office may be torn down and the world sprayed over it like Carthage did the Greeks.

People are divided on whether or not Trump may receive a sentence to time in prison. ABC News asked 14 lawyers and constitutional professors about the likelihood — five said it was possible, two were uncertain, and seven said it was doubtful due to operational problems, a lack of precedent for imprisoning initial- time offenders, and like a sentence’s political ramifications.
Most people agreed that before the November election, he would not face prison time.
