Fiance- Trump White House official , Alyssa Farah Griffin told Mediaite that next- President Donald Trump discussed “executing” people at various White House sessions.
Griffin was a guest on this year’s edition of Mediaite’s fresh Press Club podcast, hosted by Aidan McLaughlin.
McLaughlin and his team conducted a broad meeting that included former Trump administration officials who had harsh criticism of Trump before eventually backing him.
This led Griffin to reveal that the meeting at which then-Attorney General Bill Barr claims he could n’t recall whether Trump had suggested a leaker should be “executed” was just one of several such meetings:
Mike Pence opted not to support Trump. However, there are people like Bill Barr and Nikki Haley who are either endorsing him or saying they would likely vote for him despite being extremely critical. The two statements differ from one saying you disagree with some policies and that I may vote for someone who is genuinely unfit for office. How do you reveal that there are people who are very clever, like Nikki Haley and Bill Barr, who watched the first Trump name from the inside, and have described it as quite dangerous, but are still saying, well, we may vote for him in 2024.
It’s energy. One of the most appealing things we have in society is, in my opinion, energy. To her credit, Kaitlan Collins spoke with Bill Barr and inquired about an anecdote that I had shared about a meeting where Trump directly claimed a worker who leaked a history should be put to death. And Bill Barr kind of danced it, saying,” I do n’t recall that particular instance, but there were others where we talked about killing people.” How do you justify the person’s suitability to serve as president of the United States?
They’re reading the tea leaf. They know there’s a very real possibility he’s going to be president afterwards. Being right is not a lot of brilliance or victory, but I believe that’s ultimately what it boils down to being on Trump’s aspect.
I was incredibly interested in Nikki Haley. I do n’t believe she turned around and supported him, but I do believe it was pathetic. I think she knows better. I wish that there were more people out there, but I do think it’s significant, I mentioned Pence, but every living past standard bearer for the GOP, but everyone who’s been on a GOP political ticket, with the exception of Sarah Palin, is no backing Donald Trump — Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan, Dan Quayle, probably George Bush, Mike Pence, everyone that we entrusted who had risen to the level of seriousness that they could see themselves in the Oval, says oh no, this guy should not be in the Oval.
