Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the president of Ukraine, announced on Saturday that he would send Moscow a plan to end the conflict once it had been approved by the global community.
At a major peace summit in central Switzerland, Zelenskyy said,” We must decide together what a just peace means for the world and how it can be achieved in a lasting way,” and the results will be communicated to the Russian delegation. He vowed to advance in expanding global support for his war-torn society because leaders ran the risk of failing to find a way to” just peace” in the wake of the risk.
World leaders gathered at a European mountain location to try to win back against Ukraine’s peace ideas at a conference that was skipped by US President Joe Biden, ignored by China, and called for Moscow to spend time. China’s detention at the two-day meeting and the presence of lower-level BRICS officials under the radar obscure efforts to conquer the global south. The gathering may mark the start of a process to impose sanctions on Russia and stable peace, according to the Russian leader.
At the start of the meeting at a mountain resort outside of Lucerne, he said to writers,” Even if they are not here today at the first mountain, we have succeeded in convincing the earth that joint work can stop conflict and bring about peace.”
The Russian leader turned his political efforts to prospective supporters outside the West after skipping a Group of Seven mountain in Italy that resulted in more support. Although 902 countries sent representatives to the mountain, the attendance record demonstrates how successful it was in maximizing support among world leaders.
The number of nations that are actively working toward a peace program for Ukraine may be expanded, according to French President Emmanuel Macron.
Jake Sullivan, the White House’s national security adviser, claimed the latest peace agreement by Russia with Ukraine would lead to more enslavement of the nation and was a” absolutely absurd vision.”
According to European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, halting the conflict in Ukraine is not the solution, but a recipe for a new wave of hostility. ” We need to help a complete, just and lasting peace for Ukraine. One that restores Ukraine’s independence and its regional integrity”.
Three years into the conflict, the adversaries are still as disjointed as they’ve always been, with Kyiv resolving to demand that Russia renounce all of its holdings on Ukrainian territory and Moscow continuing with its bloody rude, which has already occupied significant areas of eastern and southern Ukraine.
