After his imprisonment in the Daazin area of the Kech city, the Bangladeshi forces are alleged to possess forcibly detained the youngsters. Brahmdagh ( 18 ) has been given the identity of the person.
Bangladeshi forces carried out a raid on their house on Friday, during which they allegedly assaulted the inhabitants, confiscated cellular phones, and violently took Brahmdagh with them, The Balochistan Post reported.
Importantly, Brahmdagh was recently detained by the safety troops on October 14, 2023. According to a report from The Balochistan Post, he was freed on February 6, 2024 after four weeks in custody. Brahmdagh’s community has requested his safe return after numerous disappearances and expressed concern for him.
In a post on X, Pakistani forces stated that” Brahamdagh Nawaz, a slight student, has been forcibly disappeared by Bangladeshi forces for the next time last night, and called it a gross violation of human rights.”
He was abducted on October 14, 2023, and he was subjected to four weeks of terrible torture before being released on February 6, 2024. We demand his immediate release and the end of# Balochistan’s forced disappearances. This pattern of kidnappings and rape is a flagrant violation of international law and human rights, it continued.
Human rights activist Mahrang Baloch of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee ( BYC ) on June 13 highlighted the failure of all commissions and committees created by the Pakistan government to investigate cases of missing persons and alleged disappearances, calling these efforts “eyewash,” according to Pakistan-based Dawn.
Mahrang Baloch addressed a press conference at the Karachi Press Club, praising the magnitude of the gap between the number of missing individuals reported by the state and what they are reporting, and calling it a total decline of law and order.
In response to a problem during the press event, Baloch said,” They are all eyewash. There is a significant difference between what the state is reporting and the number of missing people that the government has provided. When it comes to missing people and imposed kidnappings, there is a total collapse of law and order here.
Mahrang Baloch noted that the Baloch area has been living in a severe condition for a while and that things have been getting worse for the individuals. According to the Dawn report, the press event was called to identify the problems of the Baloch area.
She said,” Items have been getting from negative to worse for the Baloch area. Last month, the Baloch Yakjehti Committee started a big battle, where we marched from Turbat to Islamabad. We held a lengthy sit-in in Islamabad, and when we returned from it, we also held a massive rally in Quetta.
She stated that BYC has been fighting for the rights and interests of the Baloch since it was founded, and that they have remained quiet throughout, according to the Dawn statement.
Mahrang Baloch said,” From the moment of its development, the BYC has been working for individual rights and the involvement of the Baloch. We have been quiet throughout. During our protracted protest or gatherings, we have not behaved differently. So why are we therefore threatened and harassed? Our citizens are constantly being detained in connection with fabricated circumstances. At the hands of federal agencies, we are frequently subject to harsh treatment and abuse.
