
NEW YORK: An Indian- nature woman was killed and another thoroughly injured after they were shot in the US state of New Jersey, reportedly by a 19- yr- old American- origin man, according to authorities.
According to a media release from the state prosecutor, the shooting took place on June 12 in northern Middlesex County. Officers responded to a shooting report by finding two female patients who had gunshot wounds and airlifting them to the doctor. Jasvir Kaur, 29, of Carteret, was pronounced deceased at the doctor, while the other prey, a 20- yr- old woman, was important, it said. The other prey was Kaur’s niece, according to CBS News.
Police arrested Gaurav Gill, 19, after in the day in connection with the firing. According to the report, he was on the work for days and was reportedly approached by law enforcement in a garden about a quarter mile from the location of the shooting. Gill, a native of Kent, was accused of “one matter of first-degree attempted murder, two counts of second-degree unconstitutional possession of a tool, one count of fourth-degree ownership of a high-capacity magazine, and one count of first-degree attempted death,” according to the press release.
It was unclear how or if the assume knew the patients, and the cause behind the shooting was not immediately known, it said. Police have stated that the research is “active and ongoing” and have urged those with knowledge to dial and reach out to specialists.
