
A Florida teenager , fatally shot his mother and father , and wounded a police officer before officers killed him in a shootout, according to officials.
On Saturday evening, Christos Themelis Jr., 19, killed his father in their Tampa house, killed his mother inside, opened fire on responding soldiers, inflicting wounds to Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Deputy Shane McGough, and injured himself.
” To see this situation unfold is truly scary” , , Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister said. There is no denying that the delegates ‘ swift action lowered the risk to this neighborhood.
McGough, 26, was  , picture in the knee and underwent surgery, officials said. In about three times, he is anticipated to recover fully.
Themelis ‘ mother, Rebecca Ann Themelis, called 911 around 11 p. m. on Saturday, telling dispatchers that , her brother had merely shot his dad, 51- year- ancient Christos Themelis Sr.

One of the first police officers to arrive at the residence, McGough, witnessed Themelis holding Rachel, 48, at gun in the front yard. Themelis refused to let him go for a while, but the officers later shot her dead before opening fire on the officers and struck McGough in the foot.
Multiple other , commanders returned fire and hit Themelis, according to authorities. Though he managed to crawl up inside the house, starting a standoff, authorities finally found him dead inside the house.
According to Sheriff Chronister, the officers had originally called the home several times after Themelis reportedly attacked his parents, and they had also seized all weapons there after receiving a court order. He said it ‘s , vague how Themelis obtained another weapon.
