Progressive, self- described’ shelter city ‘ Denver, Colorado is paying for unlawful immigrants to travel to Utah, according to Republican Utah Governor Spencer J. Cox.
Republican Utah Governor Spencer J. Cox wrote on X on Friday that” we just learned that the Democratic governor of Denver has been sending unlawful immigrants to Utah without proper notification or approval.” This is completely unacceptable and goes against the Biden administration’s missed catch and release plan.
Without the acceptance or enhance knowledge of local authorities, Denver has been paying for migrants to travel to various places, including Utah, where nearly 2, 000 have been sent, 2KUTV News reported Thursday. Cox said Friday the process is “unacceptable” and a result of the Biden administration’s immigration laws.
Cox wrote that Utah’s tools “are fully depleted”. His company informed Fox 13 News that they had been informed that the city had sent migrants on May 13.
” All 50 states, including Utah, are now border state due to the failed immigration policies of President Biden and Congress”, Cox continued. ” Once more, we call on the Biden administration and Congress to resolve this issue.”
Denver city leaders are no blaming the Biden administration’s horrible open border policies for the overwhelming problem, instead, they blame Texas.
Officials , told Politico Friday:  ,” The vast majority of visitors arriving in Denver do so on cars chartered from Texas and had no intent of actually coming to Denver”, Jordan Fuja, director for Democratic Denver Mayor Mike Johnston, told Politico. ” That’s why part of our procedures includes purchasing tickets for beginners to get to their desired place.”
State officials in Salt Lake City, Utah even were not made aware in advance of the refugees ‘ appearance, the city council’s office told 2KUTV News.
” I have, myself, communicated our displeasure”, Andrew Roberts, chief of staff for Salt Lake County Mayor Jenny Wilson, told the outlet.
