Jun. 19—SEOUL ( The Korea Herald/ANN) — North Korean soldiers have been injured and killed in spot bombs on their part of the demilitarized zone that divides the&nbsp, Asian Peninsula, the North Korean government said Tuesday.

” The North Vietnamese government is pushing forward with the DMZ activities despite a series of deadly bombs of mines”, an established at&nbsp, South Korea ‘s&nbsp, Joint Chiefs of Staff&nbsp, told reporters.

According to the JCS, closed-circuit televisions that were broadcast on the air reportedly filmed the explosion of the mines.

After announcing it would remove from the 2018 inter-Korean military alliance to ease front conflicts in November, North Korea&nbsp began restoring watch articles and other infrastructure along the borders. Earlier this year, &nbsp, North Korea&nbsp, even removed lights along the streets connecting to the South.

The South’s JCS believes&nbsp, North Korea&nbsp, is deploying a large number of its army for its initiative to “turn the DMZ into a desolate area” by planting mines and reinforcing military streets.

The North Vietnamese military’s front-line structures, according to the JCS, appear to be anti-tank obstacles.

The JCS official explained that the new actions by the North Vietnamese defense” seem to be measures to improve inside controls, such as preventing its people from traveling to and up from&nbsp, South Korea.”

” They are burying landmines, primarily in areas where people have previously crossed the border,” they said. The’ barren land’ is being created to facilitate surveillance”.

Early Tuesday, North Korean soldiers also briefly crossed into&nbsp, South Korea&nbsp, before retreating after the South fired warning shots, the JCS said. This is the North’s second border violation in less than two weeks.
