    Putin’s rare visit to old ally North Korea aims to strengthen ties amid US sanctions

    Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia, made his second trip to North Korea in 24 times. This attend comes as Washington’s conflicts are rising, and it aims to strengthen the US-led empire.
    Upon introduction, Putin was cordially welcomed at Pyongyang’s aircraft by North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. Before Kim personally escorted Putin to the Kumsusan State Guest House, the leaders exchanged a handshake and an embrace, according to North Korea’s Korean Central News Agency (KCNA ). The organization hailed their appointment as a historic occasion that highlighted the companionship and unity of their respective countries.
    In remarks made before his appearance, Putin expressed love for North Korea’s unwavering support of Russia’s defense activities in Ukraine. He emphasized the reciprocity of both countries ‘ work to halt American efforts to “promote a multipolar world order based on fairness and mutual admiration for sovereignty.”
    Putin’s explore raises questions about a potential arms deal where North Korea would provide Russia with weapons for its conflict in Ukraine in trade for financial assistance and scientific advancements for Kim’s nuclear weapons program. Putin and the Russian president were depicted in flags and banners on Pyongyang’s pavements.
    Putin made a statement highlighting the expansion of cooperation, stating that he would work with other countries to create trade and payment systems that would be outside Northern control. Russia and North Korea both have harsh sanctions against them, with North Korea and Russia for their 2022 invasions and nuclear interests.
    The Kremlin noted that Putin’s crew includes many top leaders, and many contracts are expected to be signed, perhaps covering a comprehensive strategic relationship. Putin furthermore pledged to strengthen collaboration in commerce, culture, and education.
    Due to his North Korea attend, Putin stopped in Yakutsk, Russia, to examine local technology and security tasks. His committee includes Deputy Prime Minister Denis Mantrurov, Defense Minister Andrei Belousov, and Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
    US and South Korean authorities have accused North Korea of supplying Russia with artillery, weapons, and other military equipment, possibly in contravention of UN Security Council punishment. Both Pyongyang and Moscow deny these complaints.
    Putin’s visit was discussed by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who highlighted Russia’s desire to form relationships with nations like North Korea and Iran to support its war efforts in Ukraine. Concerned about the potential strengthening of North Korea’s missile and nuclear features according to Russian help, NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg and North Korean officials reiterated their problems.
    After North Korea, Putin plans to visit Vietnam to discuss business. The US has criticized this visit, arguing that no nation should assist Putin’s anger against Ukraine.
    Putin’s attend underscores his efforts to restore Russia’s control and restore Communist- time alliances, despite foreign sanctions and condemnation.
