At least two people were hurt in the northern region of Lviv on Wednesday when Russian aircraft attacks on energy facilities in central Ukraine were reportedly caused by at least two injuries, according to Ukrainian authorities.
The power government announced via the Telegram messaging apps that repairs to damaged electrical tools in the northern region of Lviv were being made and that emergency services had been dispatched to the locations of the attacks.
According to Lviv local government Maksym Kozytskyi, Russian forces launched five robots into the Lviv area that borders Nato-member Poland, injuring two people.
Kozytskyi claimed on Telegram that all five robots had been blown up by Ukraine’s air defense systems. Falling debris was the source of the harm and injury.
According to Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi, the helicopter attack in the town of Malekhiv in the Lviv town district also severely damaged a multi-story home building, in addition to numerous windows in different residential buildings.
A veterinary drugs research university in Lviv was also damaged by the strike, Sadovyi said.
Ukraine’s air army said it destroyed 19 out of 21 robots launched by Russia over six Polish provinces.
The accounts were not independently verified by Reuters. Russia did not respond right away. Both factors refute the Russian military action against its smaller neighbor in February 2022.
The Lviv region’s managerial center is located in Lviv City.
