In the 2024 presidential election, former president Donald Trump continues to outnumber President Joe Biden, perhaps holding a dominant double-digit lead among Iowans who are likely to vote.
According to a new Des Moines Register/Mediacom Iowa Poll, 50 % of good citizens plan to back Trump in the upcoming vote, compared to only 32 % who say they will help the Democrat president.
The new poll, which was conducted between June 9 and June 14, only five months before the election time, polled 632 good voters in Iowa.
A New York judge found the former president guilty of 34 misdemeanor counts of falsifying business records, which adds to Trump’s enormous lead in Iowa.
Donald Promote, an Iowa native who participated in the ballot, said he plans to vote for Trump.

Promote claimed that “part of my mind is made up” is the views Trump had in New York.
