The Biden administration announced on Thursday that it would push back sales for another foreign buyers while positioning Ukraine at the top of the market for foreign hands sales of air-defense missiles.
According to White House National Security Council official John Kirby, who spoke with reporters on Thursday during a White House press conference, the management has chosen to promote the delivery of air-defense weapons, especially given Russian forces’ increased long-range attacks on Ukrainian territory. He did not specify how many other nations will be affected by this reprioritization in terms of impact, but he said the program is to concentrate on providing these techniques to Ukraine for the duration of 2024 and the entire 2025.
