
Travis Scott, the rapper behind the trespass and unruly intoxication charges that he faced on Thursday morning in South Beach, has been released from a Miami-Dade County jail.
According to online Miami-Dade Corrections records, Scott, 33, who was booked into Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center under the legal name” Jacques Webster,” posted a$ 650 bond.
After releasing” Lol,” Scott posted to the social media platform X.
An arrest statement says Miami Beach police were called to the Miami Beach Marina, 300 Alton Road, at around 12: 44 a. m. after the guest” stated that there were persons fighting” on one of the boats.
There was no physical encounter with people, according to those in Scott’s group who reached out to the Miami Herald.
When the Miami Beach police arrived at the pier, Scott allegedly yelled at persons on the yacht while standing by the port. According to the arrest review, Scott do lay down briefly before returning to standing when officers asked him to do so.
” Officers on the scene could sense a strong smell of alcohol coming from]Scott’s ] breath”, the report said.
The person who had called police” stated that he did not want to press charges and just wanted]Scott ] off the vessel”.
Scott walked up to the seafront, the arrest report said, sometimes walking forward and “yelling profanities” to the people on the yacht. According to the arrest report, he left in a waiting vehicle and came back about five minutes later.
” ]Scott ] bypassed officers in the parking lot of the marina, disregarding officers ‘ commands to not go”, the report said. ” Once]Scott ] began speaking to Sgt. ( Jorge ) Lemus ,]Scott ] began yelling once again, becoming erratic, disturbing the peace of the marina occupants and nearby residential buildings, causing a public disturbance.
” ]Scott ] also disregarded officer’s warnings to not return to the Miami Beach Marina.”
At Miami Beach police headquarters, the report said” ,]Scott ] admitted that he had been drinking alcohol and stated,’ It’s Miami.’ “
