NEW DELHI: Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency, or JAXA, which is Japan’s place firm suffered a series of attacks since last year. Yet as Tokyo continues to investigate and take preventive measures, sensitive data about missiles and satellites was never compromised.
Since late last year, the JAXA has engaged in” a number of” attacks, according to Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshimasa Hayashi.
Yoshimasa Hayashi was quoted by the news agency AP as saying that JAXA has investigated the amount of unlawful entry while shutting down the damaged sites and checking that they did not contain classified information about the operation of missiles and observatories and national protection.
The Chief Cabinet Secretary has resolved to develop Japan’s ability to store attacks.
Minoru Kihara, the minister of defense, claimed that despite carefully monitoring the investigation by the important company, cyberattacks on JAXA have not had an impact on his ministry.
No real harm was caused by the attacks, according to Masahito Moriyama, the minister of education and technology. JAXA is now collaborating with the president’s security staff to implement defenses.
Masahito Moriyama, minister of education and knowledge, added to his statement from a news conference on Friday that he thought the attacks had caused no real harm.
However, authorities on Friday said they were never informed of any data leak from the attacks.
In response to China’s growing menace, Japan has increased its military might and is hoping to be able to create a counterstrike capability. Tokyo will still have to rely heavily on the US to launch long-range cruise missiles at goals, though.
