A Latina House Republican plans to introduce a pair of immigration charges that may significantly increase penalties for employers who hire people who are not eligible to work and break down on artificial migrant communities coming across the southern border.
Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL ) will introduce two bills on Friday, one of which she claims is intended to stop migrant children from being trafficked into the country while pretending to be a member of a family. It may also serve as a pretext for the child to be put in forced labor in the country.
According to Luna,” There is an unnerving smuggling ring in our land where children are being sold for sexual and low labor after being brought here by wolves claiming to get their home friends,” the report to the Washington Examiner read.
” Tens of thousands of kids are disappearing and being exploited, and this administration is doing nothing,” Luna said.

The Family Reunification Act, the first piece of legislation, would involve all individuals detained at the U.S. Mexico border to have quick DNA testing to verify that the child and the family are related. This type of speedy DNA testing was done during the Trump administration, but President Joe Biden halted the measure early on in his administration.
The Washington Examiner reported in 2019 that 30 % of organizations suspected of posing as fake families were found to be unrelated by DNA testing.
As federal investigators investigate the origins of the child being smuggled, the child would be separated from the adult if it were determined that the two were not related.
The Illegal Labor Accountability Act, a second bill, would triple the penalties for employers hiring illegal immigrants, particularly children who are forced to work after being trafficked into the country.
” Under the Biden administration, almost 2.5 million people have crossed our borders illegally”, Luna said. ” We have greedy companies unlawfully hiring illegals, both adults and children, for cheap labor instead of hiring Americans. They are not only being held accountable for exploiting these immigrants, but they are also not being held accountable for it. We must put an end to this.
