The Human Rights Focus Pakistan ( HRFP ) vehemently denounced the country’s law enforcement for their inaction and criticized the mob lynching of a man in Swat, Pakistan.
A violent crowd in Swat on Thursday evening cruelly lynched and burned alive.
Ali, who had previously been detained on suspicion of heresy, had traveled from Sialkot to Swat for a few days during the Eid vacations.
The prey was lynched despite him being in police custody, according to the right team, adding that the law enforcement officials failed to shield him from the criminal’s fury.
HRFP President Naveed Walter expressed grave concern about the rising fad of blasphemy charges, claiming that it has reached an alarming amount where no one is safe.
Walter emphasized that everyone, everywhere in Pakistan can be the goal of this kind of lifestyle.
” No one is healthy then because sacrilege is being committed against innocent people has become so widespread. The tourism field in Swat will endure, and the pressure from extreme elements may simply boost”, Walter said.
Walter criticized how poorly the police and law enforcement worked to shield Ismail during the invasion.
He condemned the” silence and silence” surrounding like situations, stating that it emboldened the defendants and intruders. Walter argued that when murder and assault become so prevalent, neither the government nor the general public does feel safe.
He also cited the need for the rule of law, leadership, and the prevalence of double standards in handling like sensitive cases as well as the wider implications of this event.
Walter pressed for more drastic changes and enhanced safeguards to stop calamities like this from occurring in the future.
It emphasizes the need to address the root causes of these violent deeds and ensure that all Pakistanis are safe and secure.
