Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated on Sunday that Israel will no longer be fighting Hamas in Gaza, enabling Israel to dispatch more troops to its northern boundary to fight Palestinian militant group Hezbollah.
At a time when they appear to be heading for combat, the remarks raised the possibility of further escalation between Israel and Hezbollah. Netanyahu even emphasized that the grinding conflict in Gaza is not likely to end. Netanyahu claimed that the war‘s recent stage is “on the verge of a close call.” ” That does n’t mean the war is about to end”.
Netanyahu claimed in a long discussion that the army’s floor offensive in Rafah is not complete, but that does not mean that Hamas’s conflict is over. He claimed, however, that less army would be required to fight Hezbollah in Gaza, giving them more time to retreat.
After Hamas ‘ Oct. 7 strike, which set off the Gaza War, the Iranian-backed Lebanon began attacking Israel almost immediately. Since then, Israel and Hezbollah have exchanged fire almost daily, but new battle has sparked anxieties of a full-fledged conflict.
Netanyahu expressed hope for a political answer to the problems, but vowed to resolve it “in a different way” if necessary. We are prepared to fight on a number of sides, according to the statement.
Hezbollah warned Israel against starting a war on Lebanon’s before next week, claiming that it has new intelligence tools and weapons to help it targeted crucial roles further inside Israel.
Hezbollah now has new weapons unveiled during the low-level fighting, including hard-to-defend attack drones that strike without any prior warning. In a drone attack on Sunday, an Jewish man suffered severe injuries.
