
OAHU, Hawaii , – , Hawaii , surfing star and actor , Tamayo Perry , died after being attacked by a shark Sunday.
The 49-year-old man died on Oahu’s northern sea, where he had spent eight years working for Ocean Safety and Lifeguard Services. When he was attacked while searching during his break,
Perry is known for a number of roles in movies like” Blue Crush” and the” Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise.
After a visitor reported seeing a male being bitten by a fish, Honolulu Ocean Safety and city police officers responded to Mlaekahana Beach on and Oahu. Perry was brought to sea by a swimmer using a jet skiing, according to the police.
The Hawaii Government Employees Association  , shared sympathies with Perry’s family , in a statement on Facebook.
” The HGEA coalition Ohana is saddened to learn about the tragic death of one of our own,  , Tamayo Perry, a ocean health officer with , Honolulu , City &, County”, the statement said. His moving serves as a stark reminder of the dangers that our people must take every day to protect our neighborhood. In this challenging moment, we are prepared to help in any way.
