
David Lammy, the UK’s dark foreign minister and leader of the Labour Party, praised the strengthening of the Strategic Partnership between New Delhi and London and affirmed his firm determination to signing a free trade agreement with India.
The Labour president even criticised the Conservative government, which has been in power in UK since 2010, has “overpromised” and “underdelivered” in relation to India.
After the election results, it is likely that India and Britain will sign the long-awaited business agreement.
The India-UK FTA negotiations have already broken out in 13 shells, with the 14th large beginning on January 10, 2024.

The UK dark secretary demanded that “many Diwalis” be celebrated without a business agreement, and he urged Nirmala Sitharaman, the finance minister, and Piyush Goyal, the commerce minister, to do so.

The Communist head praised India’s democratic institutions and democratic system and commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his third successive victory.
” I seriously believe that India’s democratic elections with about a billion voters are the most important speech, the most important confirmation, not only of political best but of political practice in today’s world community”, Lammy said.
” I suddenly congratulate Narendra Modi for forming the NDA state… if we have the opportunity to serve, we look forward to working closely with… India is a power, 1.4 billion people robust, the largest country in the world, an economical superpower”, he added.
Working with India for a “free and open Indo-Pacific,” the English dark director added.
He highlighted that in India, around 94 per cent of carriages are electrified, while the variety in the UK is just 38 per share, adding that” we got anything to know”.
David Lammy continued,” Britain needs a restore with the International South, and that starts with India.”
The Ministry of Commerce held a Chintan Shivir last month to provide information to the stakeholders and officials regarding the Free Trade Agreement (FTA ).
During the conference, officials discussed strategies and perspective for 2047, financial assessments and analysis of FTAs, and inclusion of new disciplines like setting, employment, gender issues, and online trade.
