Events demonstrate trust, nationalism, free speech, and home values still significant

Although racism and dangerous protests may have been the focus of the spring and fall semesters, there were also some positive moments during the 2023 to 2024 school year.

There are still university students who value these aspirations and are willing to struggle for them, as demonstrated by loyalty at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and Saint Mary’s College in Indiana.

University and other higher education leaders also spoke out against the woke agenda’s interference in academic and extracurricular activities during the year.

Therefore, there were adult students who did some amazing things, like saving a child’s life – or essentially creating a bit of many- needed, non- politicized campus laughter.

Thus, in no particular order, here is a record of the year’s most inspiring reports from The College Fix:

    1. The University of North Carolina Chapel Hill individuals with Pi Kappa Phi raised and raised-for-frat-bros-who-defended-old-glory-from-pro-palestinian-activists/” target=”_blank” rel=”noopener”>defended the British flag during a pro-Palestinian rally in April, drawing national interest. Despite being pelted with ocean containers, the boys stood powerful. A fundraiser to honor their patriotism has raised more than$ 500,000 as of June 21.

    2. The president of the University of Northwestern- St. Paul in Minnesota, the pro-life Eagles for Life club, urged a fresh pregnant mother to dismiss the pressure of aborting her unborn child with a few” simple words.”

    3. The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics fought back against the transgender entrance in April by passing a rule that separates men’s and women’s activities according to science.

    4. More academics and school leaders appeared to be speaking out about the need to defend free speech across the country and the impact of cancelling culture.

At Stanford University, university approved a free conversation speech for the first time in 50 times. In addition, more than 100 internationally renowned academics signed a charter calling for the right to freedom of expression to be supported worldwide.

Kids and alumni-founded free talk organizations that were established and expanded.

    5. After receiving a lot of backlash, students at Saint Mary’s fight to keep Catholic values. The Indiana women’s school fast rescinded a new admissions plan. Women student leaders who fought for their Catholic school’s commitment to its faith-based vision were instrumental in the work.

    6. Academic flexibility is upheld by some faculty members, who are not all conservatives. Academics in California, Michigan, New York, and different states have been speaking out about how “diversity, capital, and addition” efforts are harming training.

Due to the fact that one who was raised in the Soviet Union did not accept La comments as a requirement for employment applications, the organization also resigned from the American Mathematical Society.

    7. Every seat in the University of Notre Dame’s springtime quarter group, which featured Augustine’s” Confessions,” was filled with students who were hungry for the classics.

Remarkable examples of Christian colleges reporting record enrollment rates are even encouraging, and universities like Florida International University claim that people are increasingly interested in learning about individual freedom and political principles.

    8. Humor is again: Despite pro-Palestine protesters ‘ efforts to obstruct his speech, comedian Jerry Seinfeld resurrected the campus at Duke University’s initiation this spring. Seinfeld criticized political correctness years earlier for causing humor to be lost on school campuses.

However, some individuals are creating their own sitcom. Consider the immoral,” never- a- cult” Mizzou Squirrel Observation Society.

    9. Lastly, Harrison Butker, the kick for the Kansas City Chiefs, delivered his initiation conversation. When The Fix‘s picture of his notes at Benedictine College went viral, it served as a reminder that there are valiant celebrities who are willing to stand up for traditional ideals on university campuses, no less.

Here are more remarks from the best 2024 commencements.
