In light of rising tensions between North Korea and the communist country’s new security arrangement with Russia, the USS Theodore Roosevelt arrived in South Korea on Saturday.  ,  ,
According to The Associated Press, the U.S. aircraft carrier may participate in a mutual defense training workout with South Korea and Japan.
The USS Theodore Roosevelt’s reputation, according to South Korea’s army, demonstrates a” harsh willingness to respond to advancing North Vietnamese risks” as well as the US’s commitment to support South Korea, according to a statement from the country’s army.

According to Matthew Miller, a spokesman for the State Department, the president’s administration is “quite really” with the new contract between North Korea and Russia.

Last year, Putin said Russia’s agreement with North Korea “provides, among other things, for common assistance in the event of anger against one of the parties to this agreement”, Reuters reported.
Russia, Putin continued, “does not exclude for itself the creation of military-technical cooperation with the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.”
