El Paso, Texas (KTSM) — According to the El Paso Fire Department’s X social media account, three systems have been recovered from the Rio Grande near where El Paso and Sunland Park, New Mexico meet on Tuesday night, June 25.
El Paso Fire and Sunland Park Fire are on the field at McNutt and Anapra to perform a body recovery procedure. Primarily, three bodies were reported and then five by El Paso Fire. A probable four people are still being sought, but that number has been reduced to three.
In less than a 24-hour time, Sunland Park Fire recovered three bodies from the desert that date back on Monday evening.
