Democrat DA: ‘great deal of violence committed by illegal immigrants’, Nungaray murder was ‘bound to happen’

In response to the tragic death of Jocelyn Nungaray, Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg ( D) of Texas expressed the concern over the violent acts committed by illegal immigrants. Egg argued that the crime was a foreseeable outcome of the rise in legal action linked to illegal immigration.

” We are a significant global hub in the southwest of Houston, and individuals from all over the country visit us.” Sadly, we see a great deal of murder committed by illegal immigrants, and we see as some victimized by another laborers and ordinary people around. Therefore, it’s an enormous issue. This was bound to happen. It’s one of those items that, as an elected attorney, you’re waiting for the other shoe to drop. Ogg stated,” I’m really sick and tired that this little child was the innocent victim of these two villains.”

Ogg’s remarks appear as local law enforcement and prosecutors are becoming more concerned about the impact of illegal immigration on murder costs. She cited the further crimes committed by people crossing the border illegally by border prosecutors, officers, and local law enforcement.

” Border lawyers, officers, and local law enforcement are under enormous pressure because of the more crimes being committed by people streaming across the border”, Ogg explained. ” These in Houston, we are a first halt and hotspot for these individuals, and therefore our crime level is also increased. When we see people with knee monitors committing crimes, it hurts the confidence of officers and prosecutors. It raises the question, why were they released in the first place”?

Co-host Dana Perino questioned Ogg about the message she would like to send to Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas, who is already in Texas to assess the situation at the borders.

” Well, thank you for raising that place. Border lawyers, officers, and local law enforcement are under enormous pressure because of the more crimes being committed by people streaming across the border”, Ogg reiterated. ” These in Houston, we are a first halt and hotspot for these individuals, and therefore our crime level is also increased. When we see people with knee monitors committing crimes, it hurts the motivation of officers and prosecutors. It raises the question, why were they released in the first place”?

Ogg’s remarks reflect the ongoing difficulties that local officials face in reversing the effects of illegal immigration. The city’s law enforcement organizations are grappling with higher crime rates and the pressure on resources as Houston continues to be a key entry level for immigrants. The immediate need for complete border protection and support for local law enforcement are highlighted by Egg’s statements, which underscore the importance of protecting the safety and security of areas affected by illegal immigration.
