Two Statutes Can Help States Purge Illegal Voters

It seems plausible that Dems hope for unlawful alien votes this election as Democrats become exceedingly unpopular yet with usually leftist voting blocs and as the border crisis gets worse. However, two provincial statutes can assist state in keeping the dignity of the election of 2024.

America First Legal has highlighted two federal regulations that mandate the Department of Homeland Security ( DHS) to confirm a person’s citizenship upon demand and that prohibit the posting of this data with state institutions. States may assist in keeping their voter rolls free of illegal aliens and make sure that only citizens you cast ballots in accordance with the law.

AFL made the announcement on June 24:

AFL [AFL ] wrote a letter to the general election official of each of the fifty states, together with a backup to each governor and attorney general, outlining how they can get information from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security regarding any individual’s membership or immigration status for “any function authorized by law.” Certainly, a “purpose authorized by law” can be used to ensure the integrity of voting rolls and to investigate whether to remove possible unsuitable voters from voting rolls; as a result, these laws may offer a crucial role in providing States and localities with the information they need to stop aliens from voting.

In 2021, Joe Biden issued an executive order relating to the U.S. Census, which allows the Census to forever apply illegal aliens to rig Congress and the Electoral College in favor of Democrats. The U. S. Supreme Court also previously ruled that states must accept the U. S. Election Assistance Commission’s ( EAC ) federal voter registration form even without proof of citizenship.

Besides the clear risk to election integrity that EAC poses, DHS’s Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements ( SAVE ) program, which states utilize, possesses” critical flaws”, according to AFL. However, there are still ways for Republican claims to evaluate whether authorized voters are people.

AFL was referring to 8 U.S.C. 1373 ( c ), which states that any” Federal, State, or local government agency” may inquire about a person’s citizenship or immigration status for “any purpose authorized by law.” DHS subsequently” shall answer” to this investigation.

Furthermore, 8 U. S. C. § 1644 establishes that no federal, state, or local law can restrict or prohibit such immigration status information being” sen]t ] to or receiv]ed ] &nbsp, from” DHS. The two national statutes provide says with a way to determine whether registered voters are individuals or illegal aliens. AFL clarified:

As previously stated, federal law explicitly mandates that all international nationals, even those who are freely present in the country, must be registered to vote or cast ballots. Additionally, federal law mandates that says take steps to remove unsuitable voters from voting rolls. Additionally, many States impose membership requirements on the books, and 8 U.S. C. 1644 grants States unlimited authority to find out about aliens ‘ immigration status in the United States. Therefore, it is a “purpose authorized by law” under 8 U. S. C. § 1373 ( c ) for a State to ask DHS about the citizenship status of presently registered voters.

This vote is critical in rescuing America from the Biden administration’s chaos and turmoil. State leaders may take action to ensure the integrity of elections.
