Many officers reportedly told NBC News that more than 400 illegal immigrants who the Department of Homeland Security had identified have been transported to the United States as part of an ISIS-linked human smuggling operation. More than 50 of the unlawful immigrants who are connected to terrorists are missing.
Three U. S. authorities told NBC News that over 150 unlawful immigrants tied to the ISIS community have been arrested, but the whereabouts of at least 50 more are unfamiliar, the New York Post reported.
A senior Biden administration national reportedly stated that the data that suggested a possible connection to ISIS was because some of the people involved in the border-smuggling had been uncovered by the agency.
According to the national, ICE began detaining illegal refugees connected to the ISIS campaign earlier this year. Hazards that target the United States have not been connected to any of the illegal immigrants.
The three officials allegedly noted that President Joe Biden’s Customs and Border Protection ( CBP ) released a number of the 400 illegal immigrants connected to ISIS into the country after crossing the southern border illegally.
Former FBI terrorism area chief Christopher O’Leary told the shop,” The fact that the movements were unknown is obviously alarming.”
O’Leary claimed that ICE is attempting to detain the illegal immigrants connected to the ISIS human trafficking system even if they are not suspected of planning a terrorist attack.
” I believe the]U. S. ] is scrambling to locate these individuals, and using the immigration charges is not uncommon”, O’Leary added. They go against that rules. And if you need to get something off the road, that’s a great approach to do it”.
