More than 400 illegal immigrants have been smuggled into the United States by an ISIS-affiliated system, according to a fresh report from the Department of Homeland Security, the majority of whom are still at large in the nation.

Federal law enforcement is intern monitoring and making arrests for migrants who were encountered at the U.S. Mexico boundary after being released into the country. To date, 150 of the 400 have been found and arrested in areas global, but the whereabouts of 50 people are unfamiliar, according to NBC News.

The record may appear to confirm the concerns about national security that some Republican lawmakers have expressed in the three decades since the number of migrants crossing the southern border increased.

We are well-versed in the fact that dangerous organizations and criminals have accessed the United States through our fractured borders. Rep. Tony Gonzales (R-TX ) stated in a statement on Wednesday morning that” we have confirmation that terrorist-related networks are using similar tactics to smuggle people into our country.” &nbsp,” Every lighting is blinking dark. We ca n’t let border security take center stage, which includes the Biden administration and Congress.

Republicans accuse President Joe Biden of reversing the Trump administration’s immigration laws at the time of his inauguration, even though the president has since positioned himself to the right on the border.

The remaining 200 migrants who are suspected of being smuggled through the ISIS-linked system are being watched closely and may soon be taken into custody. They are thought to have been imported from Central Asia and other parts of the world.

In an interview with MSNBC on Wednesday night, DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas defended the organization.

We do n’t have any proof that Central Asian residents are plotting to harm the United States, according to the statement. That is misleading. The British people’s safety and security are our top priorities, Mayorkas said. In order to protect the safety and protection of the British people, No. 1″.

The New York Post reported earlier this month that eight illegal immigrants from Tajikistan had been ejected from the nation only to have national authorities track them down weeks afterwards because they were suspected of having ties to the Islamic State group.

A senior administration official who spoke with NBC News claimed that the government did not have any knowledge that suggested any of the roughly 400 illegal immigrants had links to the Islamic State group and that the arresting was taken as a precautionary measure.

A senior Biden administration national said,” In this case, it was the info that [made us want to take extra care because some of the people involved in smuggling workers to the border ] that suggested a possible link to ISIS,” according to a senior Biden administration official. Make sure that we exercised our power in the most wide and ideal way to reduce risk because of this potential link being made out of abundance of caution.

In governmental 2023, which ended last September, the U.S. Border Patrol apprehended more than 172 known or suspected terrorists entering the country without authorization from Mexico or Canada.

The number is significantly higher than the single-digit terrorist watch list amounts that were present throughout the Trump presidency.

Border Patrol is only display and specialist illegal immigrants in custody based on the information at hand.

The U. S. screens immigrants against info in U. S. legal databases and could access criminal records for countries elsewhere that do not reveal it, making it impossible to understand an individual’s history in particular countries, including Cuba, Russia, Venezuela, and Nicaragua.
