Tucker Carlson asked how the internet may include “people this terrible” after he tore into a writer’s “absurd” and “disingenuous” issues at a speaking event on Tuesday in Canberra, Australia.
Australian Associated Press writer Kat Wong questioned Carlson about his immigration opinions and said that he has “talked” about the” Great Replacement Theory” on his present regarding how” light Australians, Americans, and Europeans” are being replaced by “nonwhite refugees”.
” Europeans are being replaced? I do n’t think I said that”, Carlson pushed back.
” Well, it’s been mentioned on your show 4, 000 times”, she said.
” Actually? When did I suggest that white are being replaced”? he responded.
Wong insisted he had” said that before”.
Carlson then proceeded to state what he had previously said in public about multiculturalism in America, asking her to” identify that.”
” I’m pretty sure I have n’t said that. I said african- born American are being replaced, including blacks, indigenous- born Americans”, the original Fox News number said. ” Americans who, like dark Americans, have been in the United States for several years, their families over 400 years. I find their problems to be just as real, true, and relevant as those of white people whose households have existed for 400 years. But I’ve never said that white are being replaced, no one day. And you ca n’t cite it”.
He added,” We just met, but when our relationship starts with a lie, it makes it tough to be friends. You actually ca n’t cite it because I did n’t say it and I do n’t believe it, and I’m telling you that to your face. So, why do n’t you just accept me at face value”?
Carlson continued to call it “immoral” for world leaders to change their priorities away from” the people whose duty it is to acquire of” to “putting people around the world “above those of their own people.”
The conservative host said Americans are not having children because of” the economy”, which needs to be fixed so “people who want to have kids can”, but instead,” we’re importing people from other countries”.
You do n’t just try to import new people for a quick fix, you know. That’s my place. If you think that’s prejudiced, that’s your problem”, he said to the American writer.
” I always called you a racist”, Wong retorted.
” But of course, you are suggesting it. I must say that one of the reasons why people do n’t like people like you in the media is that you never express your opinions exactly,” Carlson responded.
He added,” Your insults are all by implication. You’re about to show me the Great Replacement Theory is prejudiced or racist, anything. I’ve said what I’ve said to you right then like 100 times in public. I hope to, if I live long enough, to say it 100 more days. I think it’s totally honest and real, not racist or terrible. It’s technically correct. It’s certainly a idea, it’s a fact”.
The reporter then claimed to Carlson that the” similar theory” encouraged the 2022 mass shooter who killed 10 people in a supermarket in Buffalo, New York.
Carlson laughed,” Oh God, come on”!
The former broadcast network ripped into the American writer’s speech.
How do they make media outlets portray persons as this foolish? I guess it does n’t pay well. Look, I’m guilty, I’ve lived among people like you for very long. I do n’t mean to call you stupid, maybe you’re just pretending to be”, he replied.
” But I’m absolutely against crime. I’m absolutely against the war in Ukraine, for instance, which undoubtedly you assist and, like all obedient liberals, support more destruction. I do n’t”, he said. ” I hate mass killings, really. Everything I said would persuade anything. My opinions do not prejudice any particular party. They’re fair. They’re verifiable. That’s not dislike, that’s truth. My opinions derive from my profound problem for Americans. Americans are n’t having kids because they ca n’t afford to, and nobody in charge cares. So that’s my place. That does n’t inspire mass shootings. How dare you try to connect me to a crazy who murders individuals? How dare you, basically”?
” That’s how I feel about your absurd, deceptive problem”, Carlson stated.
” But, therefore, you support gun handle”? she asked.
” What?! I thought it could n’t get dumber, but it did. No, I do n’t support disarming law- abiding people so they ca n’t defend themselves, so the government has a monopoly on violence. I do n’t think so. First of all, in my state, that’s improper, as you know. But also, it should be outlawed in every state. A royal person has the right to defend himself and his home, period. That said, I’m opposed to harming people, anyone”, the original Fox News character responded.
Carlson took another dig at the writer’s line of questioning.

” I got here and the state is so wonderfully beautiful, and the people are so bright and amusing, and cool, and bright. I’m like, your advertising has got to be stronger than ours. It ca n’t just be a bunch of castrated robots answering questions from the boss, but it turns out to be exactly the same. Sometimes even a tiny little dumber”, he said.
Wong was not the only writer Carlson had a ton of experience with at the occurrence in Australia. He pushed up on many questions that included the subjects of vaccinations, Ukraine, and Russia.
